Century Tennis Classic Tournament Party
During September 10-13th, 2009, Gold Key Racquet Club in Phoenix hosted their first Annual Century Classic Tennis Doubles Tournament. A Century tournament by definition is an event in which the combined ages of a doubles team must equal a total of 100 years or more. It was a hot weekend but lots of great tennis was played. The US Open style player’s party & cookout that followed started out early when the women finalists decided to jump in the pool right after their final match and enjoyed a cold beer. It then continued in the evening with a wonderful cookout, prizes and a US Open women’s semi-final that will stay in tennis history as a shocker!…
